APPRENTICE
Pursuit Salon is always looking for eager, friendly and top notch attitude apprentices to join the team. Apprentices will work under the supervision of an experienced hairstylist to learn the skills and techniques necessary to become a successful industry professional. Apprentices will assist with client services and gain hands-on experience in cutting, styling, and coloring hair from the top industry professionals.
Responsibilities include
- Assist experienced hairstylists with client consultations, shampooing, and styling hair
- Observe and learn various cutting and coloring techniques
- Attend training sessions and classes to learn about new products and techniques
- Keep the salon and work area clean and organized
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and coworkers
- Meet licensing requirements for the state of California
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid California cosmetology license
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Previous experience in a salon or customer service environment is a plus but not required
- Have an amazing attitude, friendly, eager to learn, hustle attitude
CUTTING SPECIALIST
As a Cutting Specialist at Pursuit Salon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair-cutting services to our guests. You will exceed guest expectations by ensuring that each guest receives a personalized consultation, cut, and style that meets their individual needs and preferences. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation throughout your shift. In addition, you will provide guidance and support to new stylists as they develop their skillset.
