Our story
Pursuit Salon is a boutique hair salon in Los Altos founded in 2020 by Rebecca, Diana, Claire, and Whitney, four longtime friends and diPietro Todd Salon veterans. The salon opened ten weeks before the COVID shutdown and survived on the loyalty of clients who prepaid for services before it could reopen.

Four friends, one salon
Rebecca, Diana, Claire, and Whitney leave years at San Francisco's diPietro Todd Salon to open a boutique of their own in the heart of Los Altos.

- Ten weeks in: The world shut down. Pursuit had barely launched, just ten weeks of open doors, when the COVID shutdown arrived and stopped everything.
- The loyalty: Kept alive by clients. So the four got creative, preselling hair packages to use across the year. Clients answered with unwavering support and kept the doors alive.
- The comeback: Stronger than ever. Thanks to that loyalty, Pursuit didn't just survive. It grew, filling the chairs with colorists, cutting specialists, and certified extension artists.
- The mural: A story on the wall. Later, with Peck Designs, the founders added the hand-painted mural, each of them weaving in a personally meaningful detail.
- Today: Still the same four friends. Years on, all four founders are still behind the chair, now leading a team that treats every guest like part of the family.
