Pursuit Salon is always looking for eager, friendly and top notch attitude apprentices to join the team. Apprentices work under the supervision of an experienced hairstylist to learn the skills and techniques necessary to become a successful industry professional, assisting with client services and gaining hands-on experience in cutting, styling, and coloring hair from top industry professionals.
What you'll do
- Assist experienced hairstylists with client consultations, shampooing, and styling
- Observe and learn cutting and coloring techniques
- Attend training sessions and classes on new products and techniques
- Keep the salon and work area clean and organized
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive client relationships
- Meet licensing requirements for the state of California
What we're looking for
- Valid California cosmetology license
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Salon or customer-service experience is a plus, not required
- An amazing, friendly, eager-to-learn hustle attitude
As a Cutting Specialist at Pursuit Salon, you will provide exceptional hair-cutting services to our guests, a personalized consultation, cut, and style that meets each guest's individual needs and preferences. You'll maintain a clean, organized workstation and provide guidance and support to new stylists as they develop their skillset.
